As a special Mother’s Day project, I recently spent a few days visiting 37 family homes around the Bellarine area, sharing my love of photography and my passion to get mamas in the photo with their kids.

Too often we’re the family photo-taker and not the one being photographed (or we have to ask our partners to take photos and they’re nearly always unflattering – do you know what I mean?). I’m so SO passionate about documenting the love women have for their children (and their children for them!) because this time goes by too fast, and I truly believe that the best time of our lives is when our kids are little. My biggest fear is my girl looking back at our family photos and not seeing me anywhere!

So, we hung out in front yards and made sweet, honest portraits capturing all the love and fun. And creating beautiful keepsakes to be treasured forever.

but that wasn’t even the best part!

The winning family will be announced by email and on my socials on Monday the 5th of June 2023.
